Serves: 12 dates

Ingredients

• 1 stick unsalted butter, room temperature
• 4g matcha powder (or hojicha powder)
• 12 dates
• A pinch of Himalayan salt

Instructions

1. Mash the room temperature butter until smooth and creamy.
2. Sift in 4g matcha powder and mix until fully combined.
3. Slice or open the dates and fill them with the matcha butter mixture.
4. Sprinkle with Himalayan salt before serving.

Notes

Room temperature butter helps create a smoother, easier-to-mix filling.
Hojicha powder can be used instead of matcha for a roasted, nutty flavour.
Don’t skip the salt, it balances the sweetness of the dates and enhances the flavour.
