Shipping

How do I combine multiple orders in one shipment during Black Friday Sale?

To combine shipments, enter the code COMBINESHIP in the “Discount code” box at checkout. All combined shipments will be sent out the week of December 2, 2025.

This option is perfect if you’re shopping across our rotating weekly sales in November and want to reach the free shipping minimum. It’s also a more eco-friendly choice! 🌎

Where do you ship?

Currently, we ship to the US and Canada by USPS or Canada Post through our online store.

We are able to ship anywhere in the world. International shipping will be at your own expense, please see below for more information.

How often do you process orders?

We aim to process all orders within 2–3 business days. Once shipped, delivery typically takes an additional 2–6 business days for most destinations in Canada and the U.S. Please note that transit times may vary and are dependent on the shipping carrier, which is outside of our control.

What are the shipping costs & estimated shipping times?

We offer free shipping to the US on orders over $100 CAD and to Canada on orders over $80 CAD.

Most orders arrive within 5-7 business days.

Do you ship to P.O. Boxes?

Yes, please allow approximately 12 to 14 days for delivery via Canada Post, as delivering to P.O. boxes generally require longer delivery times.

How can I track my order?

You will receive a shipping confirmation with your tracking number after your order has been processed. Please allow for 24-48 hours from the time the tracking number is issued for updates to be reflected.

Can I send a personalized note with the order?

You’re welcome to include a special gift message by writing it in the “Order Notes” section at checkout. We’ll do our best to include your message with the order, but please note this will be fulfilled on a best-effort basis and is not guaranteed. We always strive to make your gifting experience as meaningful as possible.

Simply add our in-store location address as the billing address (Richmond) at check-out for FREE in-store pick-up!

What happens if my package is marked delivered but I didn’t receive it?

If your tracking information shows that your package was delivered but you haven’t received it, please check with neighbors, your building manager, or front desk, and verify the shipping address provided. Carriers may sometimes mark packages as delivered up to 48 hours in advance. If your package still hasn’t turned up after this time, contact us and we’ll do our best to assist - however, please note we are not responsible for packages lost or stolen after delivery is confirmed by the carrier.

Returns

What is your return policy?

As tea is treated as a food item by both the USFDA and CFIA, returns are not accepted (food safety risk).

If upon receiving your package you find that it is damaged or that there is an error in your order, kindly email us at info@paragontearoom.com within 7 days of delivery. So we can quickly identify the transaction, please attach a photograph of the damaged, missing, or incorrect item with your order number.

If you are dissatisfied with your product, please email info@paragontearoom.com or connect with us through chat, and we will be happy to provide you store credit via gift card, within 7 days of delivery.

What if I forget to include my unit number or buzzer code when placing an order?

If your shipping address is missing a unit number or buzzer code, the courier may be unable to deliver your package, which can result in it being returned to us.

Please ensure your full address including any necessary unit or buzzer information is entered correctly at checkout.

Orders returned due to incomplete address details may be reshipped at the customer’s expense or refunded minus the original shipping cost even if the original order qualified for free shipping.

Order Modifications & Cancellations

Once an order is placed online, we may not be able to modify or cancel it. If you require changes, please contact us immediately at info@paragontearoom.com after placing your order. While we will do our best to accommodate, modifications or cancellations are not guaranteed.

Unclaimed In-Store Pickups

Products selected for in-store pickup must be collected within 30 days after the order is marked as ready for pick up (you will receive an email once the order is ready for pick up. Orders not picked up within this window will be automatically cancelled and issued as store credit only. Please note that no refunds will be provided for unclaimed pickups.

Incorrect Shipping Information

Please ensure all shipping details are accurate before placing your order. We are not responsible for orders delivered to incorrect addresses provided at checkout. If you notice that you have made a mistake, contact info@paragontearoom.com with any changes and we will try our best to change it. No refunds will be issued for misdelivered packages due to customer error.

Payment

Is your pricing in Canadian Dollar?

Transactions are processed in Canadian dollars. If your method of payment such as your credit card is in another currency, please note any transaction or FX fees will be set by your banking provider and is out of our control.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept most credit card providers such as MasterCard, Visa, AMEX.

How do I use my gift card?

1. Add your favourite items to your cart and proceed to checkout.

2. In the "Discount code or gift card" box, enter the 16-digit code found on the back of your physical card or in your digital gift card email.

3. Hit Apply, and your gift card balance will automatically be used toward your order!

4. Please check your balance HERE and make sure your gift card has enough balance to cover your total. If it doesn't you can either pay the remaining balance with any other accepted payment method, or top up your gift card HERE.

Tip:
Choose Amber for gentle everyday lattes, Bronze for balance, Obsidian for deep intensity, and Mango Hojicha for something fun and fruity.

Baking earl grey vs Earl grey latte tea powder

Earl Grey Tea Powder:

This tea powder is most suitable for making earl grey tea lattes and offers a smooth mouthfeel as it uses a higher grade of tea leaves stone-milled to a finer mesh size in comparison to the Baking Earl Grey Powder.

Choose this option if you’re wishing to recreate our Vancouver Fog tea latte at home!

Baking Earl Grey:

Suitable for baking as it provides a simple, efficient and powerful infusion of earl grey flavour into any baked goods/ dessert without the hassle of steeping and straining of tea leaves.

The grind size of the powder is slightly less fine (compared to our earl grey powder) and although it is also suitable for making tea lattes, we recommend enjoying it in milkshakes and pastries.
