White Rabbit Milk Matcha Latte

If you ever strolled down an asian grocery market, you're probably familiar with those white rabbit candies wrapped in a edible film. If not, not to worry! We've put together a special recipe to excite your palate! This is where grassy matcha meets sweet and milky!

  • Small stove pot with lid
  • Bamboo whisk
  • Metal Whisk
  • Serving cup
  • Small shallow bowl

  • 4-6 pieces White rabbit candies
  • 200 ml Oat milk (or your choice of milk)
  • 1/2 cup Ice (*optional )
  • 2 tsp Ceremonial grade matcha powder
  • 50 ml Hot water

  1. In the stove top pot, gently pour in your choice of milk. Unwrap 4-6 white rabbit candies and add them directly in the pot.

  2. Stir the milk mixture with the metal whisk until it is completely dissolved. Remove the pan from the heat and set aside.

  3. Prepare the matcha shot by adding the ceremonial grade matcha powder into the small shallow bowl, followed by the hot water. Using the bamboo whisk, whisk the matcha shot in a "W" shape motion until a small layer of foam has formed.

  4. Hot:

Assemble your drink by pouring your milk mixture into a serving cup and top it off with the matcha shot. Give it a good stir before sipping!

    Iced:

Add the ice cubes into the serving cup, followed by the milk mixture . Gently pour in the prepared matcha shot and stir!

Useful Tips:

When dissolving the white rabbit candies with milk, it can take some time before the mixture is well combined!
