Tea-Infused White Chocolate Almonds

Tea-Infused White Chocolate Almonds

Serves: 1
Time: 10 minutes active, 10 minutes to chill

Ingredients (1 small batch)

  • 50g white chocolate, finely & evenly chopped
  • 2.5-3g tea powder (matcha, hojicha, genmaicha, works with almost any tea!)
  • 1 cup (about 120g) roasted almonds

Instructions

  1. Add the chopped white chocolate to a microwave-safe bowl.
  2. Microwave for 20 seconds, then stir well. Microwave another 15–20 seconds, stir again.  Continue in 10-second bursts until 90% melted, the rest will melt from the residual heat.
  3. Sift in tea powder of choice and then stir until the tea powder is fully dissolved and the chocolate is glossy.
  4. Add almonds and toss with a fork until evenly covered. If the chocolate begins to firm up microwave for an extra 10 seconds to re-melt.
  5. Place the coated almonds onto a parchment-lined tray. Let them firm up at room temp or chill in the fridge for 10 minutes.
  6. Unstick from parchment and enjoy!
