Spiced Chai Affogato



Our recipe offers an easy dessert that blends creamy vanilla ice cream with warm chai spices such as cinnamon, cardamom, and ginger. Each bite is a cozy mix of sweetness and spice, creating a rich, aromatic dessert!



  • Serving glass
  • Teaspoons
  • Bamboo whisk
  • Chawan
  • Ice cream scoop


  • 2.5 tsp Spicy chai powder
  • 3 tsp Brown sugar
  • 30 ml Hot water
  • 1/3 Cup Vanilla ice cream


  1. In the chawan, measure out the spicy chai powder.

  2. Pour in the hot water. Using the bamboo whisk, whisk the chai tea shot until it is well combined. Then, gently whisk in the brown sugar. Set aside.

  3. In your serving glass, scoop about 1/3 cup of vanilla ice cream. Carefully pour the prepared tea shot over the ice cream and enjoy!



An affogato is a delicious and easy dessert to prepare. In this recipe, we featured our aromatic spicy chai powder. However, you can experiment with any of our stone-milled tea powders. Ensure that you use the correct sweetener (white or brown sugar) when preparing your tea shot!
