  • Serving glass
  • Sandwich bag
  • Small bowls
  • Chawan
  • Bamboo whisk
  • Teaspoons
  • Milk frother

  • 3.5 tsp Hojicha obsidian tea powder
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • 1 tsp White sugar
  • 50 ml Hot water
  • 4 pieces Graham crackers
  • 2 TBSP Liquid honey
  • 175 ml Oat milk
  • 6-8 pieces Mini Marshmallows

  1. Preparing the rim:

Place the graham crackers in a sandwich bag and crush them with your hands until they break into small, pebble-like pieces. Be careful not to crush them too finely

  2. In one of the bowls, pour in an even layer of honey.

  3. Tilt your serving glass at a 45-degree angle and dip the rim into the honey, rotating the glass to evenly coat the entire rim with the syrup.

  4. Pour the graham cracker crumbs into a bowl. Dip the honey-rimmed glass into the crumbs, gently pressing the rim to coat it evenly. Use a spoon to lightly tap the crumbs, ensuring they stick securely.

  5. Preparing the rest of the drink:

In your chawan, add the hojicha obsidian tea powder , sea salt, white sugar and 50ml of hot water. With your bamboo whisk, give the tea shot a thorough whisk.

  6. Gently pour the prepared tea shot into the serving glass with the crumbly graham cracker rim.

  7. Either In your milk frother or using a hand-held frother, froth the oat milk and carefully top of your drink. Enjoy!

    Optional:

Garnish with a couple of mini marshmallows!

With our hojicha obsidian tea powder, we always recommend adding a pinch of sea salt to further bring out the roatsty notes of our tea. However, if you choose to enjoy it unsweetened, please omit the salt.
