Floral Rose Oolong Latte (Iced)

Floral Rose Oolong Latte (Iced)

We've incorporated aromatic rose petals in our homemade rose syrup and added it to our classic oolong oat. Enjoy both floral and roasty notes with this refreshing recipe!

P.S. Feel free to substitute Oolong Powder with Assam Black Tea, Earl Grey or Jasmine Powder (rose jasmine latte could just be the best spring drink!)

  • Heat-proof cups
  • Bamboo whisk
  • Chawan
  • Tea strainer
  • Serving glass

  • 1/3 Cup Dried rose buds (Crush them slightly for fast infusion)
  • 125 ml Hot water
  • 2 tsp Roasted oolong tea powder
  • 4 tsp Cane sugar
  • 1 Cup Ice
  • 200 ml Oat milk

  1. In the heat-proof cup, pour in the slightly crushed dried rose buds along with the hot water. Allow the rose petals to steep for 10 minutes.

*rose petals tend to float on water. Stir the petals in water thoroughly for proper infusion

  2. Using a tea strainer, strain the rose water into another heat-proof cup. Set aside.

  3. Prepare the oolong tea shot by using a bamboo whisk to whisk together the oolong tea powder and 75ml of rose water in the chawan (shallow bowl).

  4. Note:

Ensure that you do not use all the rose water in this step as you must reserve some for the next step.

  5. In the cup with the remainder of the rose water, dissolve the cane sugar by stirring well.

  6. Assembling the drink:

In your serving cup (16oz), gently pour in the ice, followed by the oat milk. Carefully pour in your homemade rose syrup and top it off with the oolong tea shot.

  7. Give your floral and roasty treat a thorough stir and enjoy!

We hope you enjoy this simple and aromatic twist on our classic oolong oat! Preparing your own rose syrup has never been easier to enhance your #homecafe experience!
